PARKWOOD LADIES RECEIVES FA ACCREDITATION

June 4th, 2022

We are pleased to announce that Parkwood ladies have received confirmation from the LFA and that we are an FA Accredited Club. Besides the club receiving a confirmation certificate, we also received a £30 gift voucher from the FA and a few footballs of varying sizes donated by Nike.

I can confirm that we have used the voucher to replenish our first aid kit for next season and the footballs will be used for goalkeeping training and general fundraising or publicity events.

On behalf of club, I would like to thank the FA and Nike for the recognition and for the gift voucher and the footballs.

Accredited clubs are more sustainable, more resilient and built to last and with that in mind if you are reading this and would like to play for us next season, you can submit an expression of interest directly to us by clicking here

To explain more about the accreditation please find information below taken from the FA Website.

BEATING HEART OF IT
Football leagues and clubs accredited by The FA have positively changed the football landscape over the last 20 years. They create the ideal environments to nurture players, coaches and volunteers. The result is greater diversity and inclusivity through
football. England Football Accredited replaces The FA Charter Standard and is the next chapter in this amazing story as we unite even more communities by supporting Leagues and Clubs over the next ten years.

WHO IS ACCREDITATION FOR?
England Football Accredited is for all non-professional leagues and clubs. It
helps them create the experiences and environments where players, coaches and volunteers can thrive.

RAISING STARS OF THE FUTURE
All accredited clubs offer a consistent standard on and off the pitch. Stars are used in accreditation to recognise clubs that provide more opportunities for more people to play.
